Failed webcomic 5: Certain Doom

After abandoning this one, I finally got the message that using templated heads wasn't going to work for me. I spent longer trying to get these strips right, but it didn't help. I desperately wanted to create something to resemble the early strips of the peerless Scary Go Round, but that was a little too ambitious. At least it made me realise why John Allison started drawing his comics by hand. You may notice similarities between the first strip here and the second strip of the 'live action' comic. That's because I was throwing around the same ideas and the same characters and just trying different styles to bring them to life. There are several other attempts like this, but as they're just inferior versions of what follows I haven't bothered to put them up here.
